How can I listen to podcasts on my SONOS?

WARNING: Since the latest Google restrictions took effect on November 1st, it's not possible anymore to select a custom folder to store the app downloaded files starting with Android11.
Because of this, there's unfortunately no way to store the files on the device Podcast folder and have them detected by the Sonos app...

In order to listen to your downloaded episodes on your SONOS you need to do the 2 following steps:

  1. Enable 'Share with other apps' in Settings/Download

  2. Change your storage folder so your episodes are stored on the device default podcast folder (usually '/storage/emulated/0/Podcasts/').
    You can change the storage folder in Settings/Download/Storage folder

    3. Once done every newly downloaded episode will be available in the SONOS app
