Search by person
Up until now, when searching for a podcast or episode, the search engine returned content matching your keywords in either the title or description field.
Thanks to the new 'The Podcast Index' tags, Podcast authors can now provide guests or co-hosts information in their podcast feeds.
Starting with this new version, you will find a new search results tab that displays the list of episodes in which the person whose name you searched for was involved.
Please note that since this is a brand new tag, it will be some time before many podcasts start using it.
Misc.
- Chapters are now supported when listening via Chromecast.
- Show text progress as well as the progress bar in the chapters screen.
- Bump EXOPlayer engine to the latest version.
- Better handling of edge cases with podcast feed redirection.
Bug fixes
- Bug that could end up corrupting some artwork
- Timecode display issue when editing a Bookmark timecode with playback speed enabled
- Crash when trying to skip forward after setting a skip value with a decimal
- Minor fixes.
